The short version
We use a little on-device storage to make the games work, and advertising cookies (Google AdSense) that are only set after you consent. You can change or withdraw consent at any time.
Essential on-device storage
These are stored by your browser to make the site function. They are not used to track you and are not shared with anyone:
- Theme preference — remembers light / dark / Ceefax.
- Daily progress — remembers which puzzles you've finished today.
- Advert frequency — remembers that an end-of-game advert has already shown today so it isn't repeated.
Advertising cookies
Quiz FC is funded by adverts shown through Google AdSense. With your consent, Google and its partners may set cookies and similar identifiers to show adverts, limit how often you see the same one, and measure performance — and to personalise adverts where you've allowed it. In the UK and EEA these are only set after you accept them in the cookie banner. You can read more in Google's advertising policy.
Managing your choices
- Use our cookie banner to accept, reject, or change your consent at any time.
- Adjust ad personalisation in your Google Ad settings.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and use “clear site data” to remove the on-device storage above (this will reset your preferences and daily progress).
