How to play Against the Clock
Against the Clock: one Premier League list, sixty seconds, as many names as you can.
Every day brings a list you can picture: a famous squad such as the Invincibles, the 100-goal club, Golden Boot winners, a club's 20-goal men, a nation's Premier League players, or everyone who played for two rival clubs.
Tap Start and the sixty seconds begin. Search for players: every right name counts once, and a wrong one only costs you time. Every list member played at least ten Premier League games, so there are no trick answers.
When the clock stops you see the whole list, most famous first, with the names you found ticked and the ones that got away at the top. Your score is how many you named and what share of the list that is.
Tips
- Bank the obvious names first, then work through positions or seasons to find the rest.
- In practice you can play head-to-head on one phone, and at thirty seconds you get the initials of three names still out there.
